A family business, since 2008.

Essmat Abd El Aziz founded El Marwa in El Obour in 2008. He brought years of experience preserving fruit and vegetables. His son, Mohamed Essmat, went on to develop the export business.

Today we individually quick-freeze Egyptian produce, from strawberries and pomegranate arils to okra and molokhia. We pack it under our own brands and in private-label packs for customers overseas.

Our laboratory runs around the clock. The team checks for microorganisms and carries out physical and chemical tests on the produce.
